Still surviving
The weather was damnnnn chat hot today. The weatherman said it was 33 degrees but i reckon it was something like 46. It was soooo unbearable! And i thought we were supposed to be in autumn now.
*Sigh, global warming.
I managed to finish my OB assignment late last night.. around 2am. Frankly, i thought i did pretty good - in the sense that i managed to finish that *early*.. Plus the fact that i actually went out to grab some gelati with my homies at 9.30pm. See, sometimes being slightly relaxed actually helps you to chill. Handed in my assignment around 4pm today, before attending business finance lecture.
I bought a latte from starbucks earlier on - to keep me awake tonight because i'll be burning the midnight oil cramming info for my business law test tomorrow. This bimbo-tic situation happened:
Mr starbucks (MS): Hi, how can i help you?
Me: Err hi.. can i have... a cup of coffee?
MS: Ummmmmm coffee? Yeahh.. What kinda coffee?
Me: Umm coffee. Yeah. The normal coffee.. you know.. the normalll one..
MS: *shocked* Ok.. Umm are you looking for something black or with milk?
Me: Milk.
MS: Yeah we have the latte? It has a bit of milk in it plus the froth on top of it?
Me: And.. sugar?
MS: Ummm we have the sugar over at the booth there? *points at the "booth"*
Me: Yeah.. rightttt... yeah.. gimme a latte..
MS: So.. a latte for you right?
Me: Yeah.. thanks.. and umm i usually drink tea so i'm pretty hopeless when it comes to coffee.
MS: Ahhh! Right.. this is the time to start you know.. *smiles*
So yeah. I know i humiliated myself. But who the fuck's supposed to know what's the difference between a latte and a mocha? Or long black and americano? I just want what nescafe gives. Pfffft. Later on, when i was at the "booth" filling my latte with sugar, he came over and we chatted a bit - he's a political science student doing his honours in melb uni! Anyway, was telling him i needed latte.. because i usually get the green tea/chocolate frappucino or just normal tea.. and he ended the conversation by saying, "ok, enjoy your... coffee". -________-"
Better get going with my studies now.
