Ahhhh. Loadsa pics. Quite a lot of stories. Interesting, no? Anyway since the line's been behaving well now and since i've finished uploading these pics, i won't mind spending some time blogging about what has happened recently:
Last day in Aussie 2006:
Visited the stupid sexpo at the melbourne exhibition centre. Bloody hell, paid AUD$22 for "entrace fee" and all you get inside was basically crap. Unless you are a sexually active person, it is totally worthless going in there to "see" what they have. Oh, they had this mr dickhead who sprayed water out of his "hole" every now and then. Gross.
After dinner at the pub @ crown, we went to the casino and played roulette. Can't believe we won't AUD$32. Had we not been greedy and stopped when we should, we could've walked away with twice the amount. Poo.
Second last day @ PwC:

This one seriously emo and sad case. Poh mun and i surprised our seniors when they went out for dinner. Hehe. Ok la, the stuff in those bags aren't worth much but hey, it's the thoughts that counts right. At least we managed to cheer them up and... cheering the dull room up. I so emo that time can cry ok.

These are pictures taken on the first day of CNY. It is a customary thing whereby we all set out in convoys and visit like almost all of dad's siblings' houses. I look forward to this all the time because it's the time of the year where you get to meet most of your cousins, catch up with each other's lives, gossip about the super large family and um.. stuff yourself silly with food. Good, good food. You get great keropok, great "leong cha", great nasi lemak, great "char yuk"... Oh god, no. This is too tempting. Anyway, the hero this year was my little nephew. Everyone went gaga over him hence, you can see him appearing in the pictures above. He is just so cute and adorable!

Taken later in the night, here we are getting ready to visit mum's aunty. The little boy there's my cousin brother, ryan. I only see him once a year, so yeah.
My dad hardly takes pictures, but this is like one of the only time he gladly takes pictures with all of us. I miss my family.
My baby niece usually sulks when you attempt to take pictures of her. However, this time she has been extremely happy to pose for the camera so yeah, you get the drift. So cute!!
The spread. Without fail, we have a roast pig every year. Countless food such as crabs, prawns, fish, noodles, sotong.....
We also have sugarcane. Aiyor i don't wanna get into the history about why we have sugarcanes so if you are really that curious then come and ask me. I will tell you.

And then, time to let go the firecrackers:

The guys hard at work setting up the firecracker.
Dad given the honours to light the firecracker.

Para-para budak kampung. Minus the baby and the girl on the far right (cousin's gf), these are my siblings and cousins. I love them all and we're proud (not really) growing up in kajang... especially sg. chua.

The nicest red packet i've ever received... thank you mum!

Mayn and i with the drinks david chose. Damn, i didn't know what i was drinking but yeah, it wasn't too bad.
The girls.
With albert.
With david.
After drinking, we left for williams @ mayang because albert suggested it. So when we reached there, we went to some food court instead.. mainly to drink and chill out la. Thanks david for... side parking my car for me. Heh! Left around 2am and got home by 3 plus after dropping mayn and pei nee. Super tired but fun! We should do this more often, end of this year, ok? I swear i'm not going to work so i'm going to enjoy my hols and spend time with each and every one of you!
Super packed.
Chocolate fondue shop. Can it rival shangri-la's?
The "great" australian experience. For AUD $7.50, you get a slab of kangaroo meat, a bit of emu meat and some crocodile meat (which looks like a roasted dick).

CNY day 2:
Basically stayed in the whole day, layan-ed some of dad's friends and also visited mum's side of the family. Nothing much la. Oh yeah, i ate satay.
CNY day 3:
Lagi nothing much happened. Relatives dropped by to visit grandma, cousins and uncle + aunty stayed over, gambled and played mahjong.. Whilst visiting one of my mum's side's relatives (this lady was fucking itching to ask me that question..blah), i got bored so i fiddled with dad's new treo phone. Damn unfair, first he bought himself this treo phone, then got mum the new o2 zinc. Makes me feel having a new phone myself too. But no, i can't~ All thanks to optus and that nokia 7370. I'm bounded to their contract for two bloody years. How can right, all my phones have only lasted for only a year max. Bodoh optus.
Went down to klcc shopping with mum, sis and bro. Bought my necessities to go back to melbourne i.e my biotherm face set, hairdryer bla bla bla. Met up with dad for lunch at avenue k's jap restaurant. Quite good food, but not as good as nippon tei. Later at night, dropped by my cousin sister's house for steamboat. Here's a pic of the kids destroying jumping on my cousin's bed. Quite the cute la.
CNY day 5:
Visited my aunt's house @ subang with the extended family for lunch. Yumm her fried chicken's always good. Drove over to klang to visit mum's cousin brother. Served us kfc. Sped down to TTDI to visit dad's partner. Served us damn good chocolate cake. In four hours i think i gained like 3 kgs. Shit. Came home to see like 18 boys around my house. Bro's friends la, came visiting. Wahlau, never seen so many guys before man cause in my family, the girls outnumber the boys. Bising gila babi. Watched music & lyrics - midnight movie. Movie was great partly because of hugh grant and his hottttt accent.
CNY day 6:
Met up with sam, jane and pei nee for lunch @ secret recipe. Great catching up with the girls. Went over to my 6th aunt's house for buffet dinner and luk luk/lut lut/however you call it. Mum's relatives dropped by to visit. Later at night, went for mamak with my cousins. So sad, my last time seeing some of them. End of this year ok?
CNY day 7:
Met up with daph for lunch @ mid valley's mdm kwan's. Glad i had my hokkien mee before i left. Talked for a long time over lunch, did some shopping and watched her get her makeover at benefit. Mmmmmm they have such lovely products - so tempting!!
CNY day 8:
Visited several houses in the afternoon. Met up with mae, pei nee, david and albert @ station one at night. Sat down and chatted for about an hour plus. Left for home cause we were having our "pai tin kong" celebration. What to do, hokkiens ma. But this is the one day i absolutely love.
My dad hardly takes pictures, but this is like one of the only time he gladly takes pictures with all of us. I miss my family.

It was raining around 11+, quite the sueh also. Waited for the rain to stop, and once it did, we ran out to burn the praying stuff...

Para-para budak kampung. Minus the baby and the girl on the far right (cousin's gf), these are my siblings and cousins. I love them all and we're proud (not really) growing up in kajang... especially sg. chua.
Lastly, it was time for some serious fireworks. Although nothing compared to what i've seen elsewhere, these fireworks make the celebration more fun. Everyone have them every year during this day and i suppose my area's one of the worst in this sense.. Meriah ma. Your city area got or not?

The nicest red packet i've ever received... thank you mum!
Met up with them @ the curve's tgif. I was practically starving so i dug into my meal even before mae reached with david. Heh. It took me like ten minutes to gobble three quarter of my meal. Yum.

After dinner, we were deciding on whether to go dance-dance @ sanctuary, or chill @ laundry. Decided on laundry since everyone was full. Albert came later on also.
Mayn and i with the drinks david chose. Damn, i didn't know what i was drinking but yeah, it wasn't too bad.

Night market at melbourne:
It was the last night market at queen vic market, so we decided to check it out. It happens annually for a few weeks on every wednesday.
Super packed.
