Lalala

For my standard, it's late now.

For some of you out there who can really really survive burning the midnight oil, 1.30am seems extremely "young" and early. However, as mentioned above, for me, it's not.

So today happened to be a public holiday. It's melbourne's cup day, and the city never looked this empty before as half the population swarmed the flemington race course to catch the race. I read MX times yesterday and this conversation ensued:
Me: Eh come la! Let's bet!
Linda & Edwin: You know which horse to bet meh?
Me: Ummmm according to MX, we should place our bets on delta blues.
Edwin: You go and bet $1 at the shop, what returns will you get? $2 ah?!
Me:

Then this evening when i got home, after our "library session" and dinner @ chomchom, i checked the results on the net. You know what? Delta blues won. Hmmmmmmph. They checked online and found that on average, if you bet on that stupid horse, you earn $16 for every dollar you bet. Damn tiu right? Dahlah i so broke now, that $16 could've fed me for two days.

Ok la seriously, not that i know anything about horse racing also. Hmmmmph.

So what have i been up to today? Only managed to cover two more chapters for finance, and i'm going to dedicate/devote my whole damn day tomorrow to stupidfucking ATA. Don't know why but i feel it's really the hardest subject by far this semester, or rather, year. Every single bit about this subject seems intimidating and the fact that the department failed about 30-40% of students last year simply adds up to my frustration. Who knew accounts would be this hard? Urgggghhhhhh... i can really sense that i'm going to suffer from a panic attack.

CANNOT wait till 12.30pm tomorrow because it marks the end of ATA!!!

Ps: I was reading through the finance textbook earlier on.. and i've came to a conclusion that... commerce people are damn chat lame. The authors of the textbook attempted several lameass jokes (which mind you, made me laugh because it was sooo lame) and i realised that it's the same for other subjects i.e macroeconomics - "richland", "poorland", "macfarland" and "bernankeland"....... GAWD! *cringesssssss*

Pps: I hope i won't be that lame by the time exam ends.
