Bday 07

On Saturday night (11/08), I had a small, quiet dinner at La Camera @ Southgate to celebrate my 20th 19th birthday. Nothing big, nothing spectacular... Just a small dinner with some of my closest friends.

This was when they surprised me with this box, and I was forced to open it in the restaurant, even though my main intention was to open it at home...

Turned out, Edwin baked them for me and they all knew about it! Special thanks to Sarah and Shaun for helping him out (and for doing such a good job by keeping it a secret!).

After dinner, we went to the casino for awhile before leaving for home. I officially celebrated my birthday in the tram hahah. Got home, and they lighted up the cupcakes (the candles had colours! How cute!).

On Sunday, the day itself, I woke up late (way past afternoon) and headed out to the city for late lunch. After lunch, spent some time walking around and headed to the casino yet again with Edwin. Couldn't believe the luck we had - first we won on the roulette table betting on "12" itself and all other stuff associated with the number e.g. "red", "even", "1-12" then, we won on the jackpot machine (the one where you put in $5 and get like 500 credits)! We were just wasting time and decided to put in $5 to the machine and we started pressing on the buttons randomly before it hit the "jackpot". The total winnings that came out from the machine itself was like $135 (all $1 coins, so pei right? But the sound of the coins falling out were immensely satisfying!!)!

Anyway, after the casino, had drinks at Greco with Edwin, Eujin, Shaun, Val and Chi. Sat down and talked about random stuff... before going back to the city for late dinner with Edwin and Eujin at Blue Sky. Shaun came later to join us for the "dinner" (it was already like 10.30?). We left around 11.40pm.

The next day, had lunch with Pris dear, Yenshan, Ai Ling and Hao Ern at the new Rice Bar. I was late and it was sooo embarrassing! SORRY GUYS!! You know I didn't mean it!! Anyhow, thanks so much for the purse, it was lovelyyyy!

So that summed up my birthday this year. It was amazing because of the presence of my beloved friends. Thank you so much to each and everyone of you for making it so special. Thank you for the wishes. Thank you for the presents. You guys made my day.
