Roomie's big day

So here's a shoutout... to my beloved roomie @ chin woon fui linda, because she turns 21 years old on this very special day.....





Hope you had a great night @ hard rock on friday (hehe we did the post mortem already!) and hope you liked the presents we got you... Not easy ok walking around the city searching for the *perfect* strawberry cake (preferably not cheese, not much cream yada yada yada), planning on how to buy your present, how to surprise you, how to hide and be more secretive...

Anyway, it has been a whole 1.5 years since we shared that tiny weeny room at 908... along the way, i/we realised:

• How much you love sleeping and how much you can actually sleep
• How emo you get when it comes to your homeboy
• How obsessed you are when you like a certain song (soler phase, rebecca phase, ken hirai phase, cheng chung kei phase........)
• How violent you get when you watch lost and heroes
• How you can actually spend the whole day sitting in front of your laptop reading wikipedia, stalking *stuff*, randomly surfing for EXPENSIVE stuff.. basically just clicking the day away....
• We discovered our AMAZING culinary skills and how much we actually enjoy cooking
• How grumpy you are when you just wake up, and when you are not feeling so "up" (like exam period)
• That we *heart* shopping
• That we started speaking more vulgar words
• How we can bergossip non stop for hours
• We enjoy eating

Obviously there's more than that, along the way, some funny stuff happened:

• Like during 2006's sem 2 swot vac, we woke up super early and put our stuff at the state library (kiasu sial) and went off for a two hour dim sum session. After that, we went on to visit the newly opened david jones and had a little shopping spree... and went back to the library 1.5 hours before it closed.
• Or the time i started talking in my sleep and freaked you out big time
• Perhaps the very first night we shared the room, you woke up to visit the loo and when you re-entered the room, i shrieked because i thought it was *something else*
• Maybe the time the three of us purposely starve ourselves during dinner time just to eat cili malam's prawn mee at 11.30pm
• The one hour train ride we took just to visit narre warren's krispy kreme
• The time i opened up the washing machine and the alarm rang "tutttttttt" and you guys came rushing up asking, "omg why what happened?" and i looked at you guys sheepishly and said, "no ark i wanna see how the clothes wash inside"
• How, after 1.5 years, i STILL ask you if there's enough water in the steamer to boil rice

All the silly moments, all the funny moments, all the happy moments... Haha damn pei now. Bottom line, HAPPY BIRTHDAY AH-LIN-DA, I LOVE YOU!
